Ancient Hunters band play-along
Once 5th grade band students are comfortable playing "Ancient Hunters" by Sean O'Loughlin quickly, they can try playing along to the recording found at this link. (It might not seem that fast to them anymore either!)

Hungry to Learn Spring Concert Pics!
Our Spring Concert "Hungry to Learn" was a wonderful event! The 4th grade ukulele players plucked their hearts out, the 4/5 chorus danced the night away, and the 5th grade band wowed us with their pieces about garden gnome attacks and superheros flying through the sky! Here are some pictures of the concert:

Thank you to everyone in the audience who supported the arts at DBS and to all the wonderful staff that helped make this concert possible. See you next year for some more fun music-making!

Simple Gifts link for Band Students
Below is a link to the mp3 for "Simple Gifts", which we are playing in 5th grade band. Students should note that this recording is a faster tempo than what we have been practicing together. They may try to play along, or just listen to get a better idea of the overall sound and how their part fits into the piece.
Enjoy!
